Current health and wellness benefits offerings by self-insured employers are underutilized and difficult to find by employees. Our goal is to design a platform to offer better product experience that makes it easier for employers to engage their employees.

Jiff Navigator is designed to be the one-stop shopping tool for employees to discover everything about their health and wellness benefits and for employers to connect with their employees in an effort to guide them to the right solution at the right time. Several engagement mechanisms are built into the product and service to allow employers to configure and customize their solutions for their population.
Jiff Challenges is designed to be a catalyst of engagement among the population. Employers can launch a few time-bound challenges for their team to spark participations in the platform. We designed multiple templates of the Challenges product where each template is optimized for a specific set of goals (e.g. individual competition, team collaboration, etc. ).
One-size-fits all doesn't work in health and wellness benefits. Therefore, in addition to various configurability we offer in the product, we also enabled the customers to customize the overall experience they are launching to their population with their own branding and marketing/communication language. We built a design team and process who are dedicated to this effort. The Creative Squad operationalized custom orders for our customers by designing and producing pre-designed themes and starter kit that customers can chose from.
In March of 2017, Castlight Health acquired Jiff. The two companies joined forces to offer the most comprehensive health and wellness benefits navigation platform in the market. The product design team, collaborating with product management and product marketing team created an early vision for how the combined capabilities and offerings can be merged to produce a better user experience for our users.
As part of the combination of the two companies, we embarked on a re-branding project in order to offer a fresh new tone to the market that leverages each legacy company's strengths. Partnering with the marketing team, we designed the new identity system, band guideline, corporate website and all other sales/marketing materials.
